Congratulations to IHS Marching Band. Mr. Impemba was proud of your efforts this week at Swartz Creek!


Ms. Siefka took animal science students to see Dr. Pol in action while he did an autopsy on the FFA birds. The students learned from Dr. Pol more about poultry and what to look for in healthy birds.





8th grade students learn about the characteristics of rotations through hands-on activity using patty-paper. Students see patterns and discover rules that can be used to rotate figures in the coordinate plane.




The Cheerleaders have extended their mum sale!!! They will take order up to Monday, Oct 2, 2023. You can drop off your orders at any of the school offices. All mums will be delivered on Homecoming.


IHS students love art! Mr. Marcy's art classes keep our kids' minds engaged, and allow each one to have an individualized learning experience. Research has shown that students who regularly enroll in art classes have a greater capacity for higher-ordered thinking skills such as analyzing and problem-solving.

Students in Animal Science class helped build the chicken pens for the FFA broiler contest. Thank you to Steve Beattie for assisting with the building of these pens. The broiler chicks will arrive next week and both Animal science classes will help raise these birds and students will compete in the FFA broiler contest in late October.



Friday nights in the fall bring small communities together each year. These young ladies are ready to help our community bring home a victory vs. the Sharks tonight at 7 P.M. Also, please support our cheerleaders as they have begun taking mum orders for homecoming week.
