High School PE students had the opportunity to build relationship, act as positive role models and have some fun with North Elementary students at their Field Day today.
Congratulations to our two Ithaca FFA members who will represent Ithaca on the Regional FFA Officer team for next year. Nicole Hollabaugh was elected as Region III President and Esperansa Sandoval Was elected Region III Reporter. These two not only serve their chapter members as officers but now also serve over 1,700 Region III members! The regional advisor position has also been passed to Ms. Siefka now. Congratulations!

The students in Animal Science have been busy the last few weeks. Students learned about dog breeds and competed in a dogless dog show. Thank you Mr. Slater for judging the contest. Today, a local rabbit breeder showed her Angora rabbit and the students learned about the different kinds of fiber which is sold at markets.

The Ithaca McDonald's has been kind enough to partner with the IHS Marching Band for a fundraising event! Tonight, May 4, from 4-7 pm, 20% of all orders made through the McDonald's app or in the store will be donated to the IHS Marching Band!

The Ithaca FFA has had a busy few weeks competing in the state skills contests at MSU and the annual FFA banquet. The Junior High Poultry team won state runner ups and the Food Science team won 5th in the state.
