Detroit Tigers had a little extra help in their win from the 3rd graders at North Elementary who cheered them during Opening Day. The Food Service Staff prepared "Ball Park" style hot dogs and chips for all the students, and many snacks and drinks were brought in as well. The kids had a great time watching the game in the classroom. Mr. D normally attends Opening Day at Tiger's Stadium. However, this year he chose to share his special day with his students! Thank you Mr. D for pinch hitting as a long term sub in place of Mrs. Schneider! We are grateful to share your enthusiasm.
