It's great to be back in the STEAM lab at North! Sixth graders used gravitrax kits to start their potential/kinetic energy unit, third graders created seasonal Lego scenes to begin their weather unit, and fourth graders constructed models of landforms to lead into their changing Earth unit. So many ways to use science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills!
North Elementary has a goal to reach! Can you help us reach our goal of donating 400 cans of food for the Hoops for Hunger CMU women's basketball game? We are still collecting items for the Hoops for Hunger food drive until Monday, January 8th. If you are able to help out, please consider donating an item or two. Also keep in mind that $1 = 9 lbs of food; so every little bit counts!
This week our school community will be focusing on the character strength of Optimism. Optimism means you expect the best from the future and work to achieve it.
