Mrs.Hull's 3rd graders received a special gift from a special grandma on Valentine's Day!! Thank you so very much for these adorable handmade teddy bears!! A lot of love and hard work went into making these and the kids loved receiving them.
Fourth graders created Lego rock layers to represent the different layers under our feet! The white and green pieces in each layer indicate animals and plants that lived at the time that layer formed. It was a fun way to visualize the changes our Earth has experienced over time!
Happy Valentine's Day from our 6th graders! We had another wonderful class party and also enjoyed many treats and cards from our friends!

4th graders were able to work with 2nd graders during a STEAM activity about landforms. They used candy bars to recreate how mountains are made and used sand trays with marbles to show how land moves. We want to thank Ric's and Dollar General for the donations of the candy bars!
In science today, sixth graders investigated how the weight and the strength of a push affects how an object will move after a collision. They used empty and weighted pop cans and different size binder clips to engage with force and motion!
In 6th grade Math the students have been working on a unit called, Hands on Equations. This unit helps empower the students' thinking and using their Algebra skills. By the end of the unit the students have become great problem solvers in better understanding of how to solve and find a variable.
