Dear South Families,
South conferences are Wednesday, October 26 from 5-8 PM and Thursday, October 27 from 1-3:30 and 5-8 PM. If you do not remember your assigned conference time, please call the South Office at 989-875-4741.
Thursday, October 27 is a half day of school. Dismissal is at 11:30 AM. Our buses will dismiss as soon as possible after they arrive from North.
No school for students and staff on Friday, October 28th.

Students in Mrs. Schaeding’s class have been learning about community helpers and their roles in the community. Today we celebrated Community Helper Day by dressing up. We appreciate our community helpers and all that you do for our community!

Dear South First Grade Parents/Guardians,
The 1st grade field trip to Reed Park has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Friday Oct. 21, 2022. The buses are planning on leaving South at 9:00 AM and returning to South at 11:00 AM. The weather forecast is predicting partly cloudy and temperatures from 37-49 during that time. We will be outside, so please send your child with appropriate outside clothing. The trail through the woods may be wet, so a pair of boots would be a good idea.
Mrs. Schaeding's classroom will still participate in their Community Worker day. Students may wear their dress items on the field trip or can change into them after the classes return to school. Please plan ahead :)
Thank you for being flexible as we changed the date due to weather. Friday is looking much better than the beginning of the week did and our students are looking forward to the trip!
