After reading Mrs. Chicken and the Hungry Crocodile, third graders used Botley robots to demonstrate how Mrs. Chicken may have swapped the eggs in the story. Each team collaborated to devise four different solutions!

This week our school community will be focusing on the character strength of Integrity. Integrity means you are honest and speak the truth. You present yourself genuinely and sincerely.
Integrity is doing the right thing when nobody is watching. People with integrity practice what they preach and maintain a consistent pattern of behavior aligned with their values. They have the courage not to follow the crowd if it means going against their beliefs.
“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.”--BOB MARLEY

Mr. DeRosia's and Mr. Smith's classes collaborated together and used teamwork for some dodgeball!

We had many creative outfits today including, H for Happy Gilmore, M for Minnie Mouse as well as others who dressed as a mouse, L for Librarian, K for Kitten, I for Illustrator, B for Banana, B for Bob the Builder, E for Eiffel Tower, and many other great ideas! Such a creative way to show our spirit!

This week our school community will be focusing on the character strength of Forgiveness. Forgiveness means you forgive those who have done wrong and you accept that people make mistakes.
