Congrats to the following girls who qualified for state at the Region meet on Friday:

 

3200m relay- Blaire Showers, Alysa Mankey, Morgan Baublitz and Kurstin Kalisek

1600m run- Kurstin Kalisek (new school record 5:22)

800m run- Kurstin Kalisek

200m dash- Brianne Draper (new school record 26.7)

1600m relay- Blaire Showers, Claire Reeves, Vanessa Waldron, Kurstin Kalisk

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Track Team on their second place finish at the regional track meet last Friday. The Boys will be attending the Team State Track meet this weekend for the first time in school history. Qualifying for the Individual State meet on June 1st are the 2 mile relay team consisting of Alik and Layne Helms, Kaleb Baublitz and Stephen Merchant. The Mile relay which consisted of Alik and Layne Helms, Tyler Gibson and Seth Capen. For individual events Jared Evers qualified in the Shot Put, Tyler Gibson in the 200 meter dash, Stephen Merchant and Kaleb Baublitz in the 2 mile and Alik Helms in the 800.

We are offering FREE PHYSICALS again for any Ithaca Middle/High School student who is interested in sports in the 2013-2014 school year.They will be located in the Ithaca High School-Gym on Monday June 3th, from 3:00-6:00pm. See schedule on the athletic board of when you are to show up! Please pick up a physical card ahead of time and have everything but the physical examination part filled out when you come in. This saves lots of time!

Attention level one and level two driver’s license holders (15 and 16 year olds). Starting March 28, 20133 it is ILLEGAL for you to TALK on your cell phone while driving. It will cost you a $100 ticket if you get caught.
